I bought this because I have an 8 month old and a lot of planned travel coming up and this seemed like the perfect alternative to baths in hotel sinks. It is so nice we are using it as our regular home tub as well!
To cover a few quick negatives posted by others:
Yes, it has a plastic smell like any baby pool on the market would (the bottom is the same type of vinyl plastic). Open it and sit it out for a couple hours and it is gone…no biggie.
Yes, you have to inflate the bottom. It took me 30 seconds…again, no biggie.
As far as supposed flimsiness goes, bear in mind it is a TRAVEL tub by design so it is made to fold which means it cannot be constructed of permanently set parts or very heavy plastic, that would defeat it’s entire purpose. I think some people’s expectations were unrealistic because I do not find it flimsy. Is it as hard and heavy as my child’s normal baby tub? No. Is it supposed to be? No.
Now, I would not recommend this as a newborn tub unless you were to use a mesh baby sling in it. But for any baby that can sit well it is wonderful. My daughter is so much happier in it than she was her reclined infant tub and it is much safer than a bath ring.
All in all I love it and wish I had owned one for my son when he was younger.

I recommend this bathtub, but not for everyday use.I bought this product to take with us when travelling and staying in hotels. For this it is a great bathtub. It folds easily and is light.I took it with us in our suitcase..a little bulky, but it did fit.I was very happy I did not need to use the hotel bathtub for my baby.

My baby and I just LOVE IT!!!! It is so easy to bath her now and SO MUCH FUN! I started bathing her everyday in this bathtub and it is just awesome. She plays with her toys and has tons of fun. The side where her head rests is lifted so she can safely lay down and relax. After her bath, I just empty the tub and hang it in a knob in our bathroom until the next day. I really recommend it, it is super practical.(Please never leave your baby unattended)

My baby and I both love this tub! I’ve had no trouble with the legs collapsing and it folds great for travel. I also like the fact that I don’t have to fill the entire tub with water to bathe a 14 mo old. I bought it when he was about 9 months old and will continue to use it until he is too big for it. The inflatable bottom makes it very comfy for baby.

good fold away bath tub. easy to store in homes with limited space. baby is now 6 months old and still using this tub and loves it! inflatable plastic makes it very cushy for baby. some others complained that it is of poor quality and very unstable. i did not find this to be true at all. my baby can be very wiggly and is not at all a small baby by an means, and i feel that he is perfectly safe in tub.
he does tend to slide while lying on his back. i simply out a hand towel underneath him and it keeps him in place.

Wow, I am surprised at all the negative reviews on here. All I can say is, I absolutely love this tub! We used to have a Fisher-Price tub, and it was okay, but this one is so much better for our 10-month-old. It folds and unfolds easily and saves us so much space in our small apartment. And the tub itself is comfy (cushy inflatable lining instead of hard plastic) and relatively deep, so it keeps baby warmer in the bath and is more fun to play in! All the other baby tubs are small and shallow and more quickly outgrown. I can see how this tub might not be the best for small babies, but for a baby who can sit up, it is just perfect.

I bought this tub 4 years ago. I have a small bathroom with little storage and needed something that I could easily fold and put away. I had a preemie and was concerned about getting a tub that she could easily slip in. The reclining option on this tub did the trick. When she got toddler, I was concerned about durability. This tub has lasted 4 years! No problems, no broken parts, no leaks. Yes, you have to take a few steps to fold this tub, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not a big deal. I usually just fold in the legs and store it flat without deflating the bottom. I rarely have to add air to the bottom. I definitely recommend buying this tub. I love it! I just wish my daughter had not outgrown it. Hopefully it will last you 4 years too!

I bought this for my 2nd child. We were planning a cross-country move a few weeks after her birth so I needed a tub I could travel with. I love the fact that the back and bottom are inflatable providing a little extra cushion for baby’s tushie and I also love that I can bring one end up to lay her down. It takes 2 seconds to fill up and I can empty it without fear of spilling water everywhere with the closable hole in the bottom. It dries quickly and all I need is a clorox wipe to keep it clean. My daughter is now 7.5 months old and pushing 20lbs. She has almost outgrown it and I will miss not having the convenience of a bath I can put on a counter and stand up to bath my baby.

I’ve had this bath tub since my son was seven months old. He is a year old now and always looks forward to bath time. I love that it is “cushy” and I dont have to worry about him slipping or bumping his head accidentally against the sides of the tub, like the traditional hard plastic tubs. It is comfortable, so much more so than the hard plastic tubs. I especially love that the bottom is soft. I can imagine how uncomfortable it would be if I had to sit on wet hard plastic for 15 minutes. I wish they made this tub when I had my 8 year old. He has to be coaxed out of the tub because he has so much fun and is so comfortable. It also helps that the tub is light weight and easy to clean and stow. He loves it and I love it!

I have been bathing my daughter in this tub since she was born. She is now 1 and we are still using it. It has always worked great for us and we haven’t had any issues. On a regular basis I would close it up to get it out of the way and the clips have never broke. The only down fall, reason why I gave it 4 stars is the four legs that you need to put in place. If you do not make sure all the legs are perfectly in place, it will collapse. After about the 3rd time using it, I had it mastered and had no issues with the legs.
