A Gold Yellow Watch to Match ALL Occasions
by admin ·
I write this piece as I consider on my favorite gold yellow watch. It dazzles me how long and how hard this beloved watch has served me since it’s been, what, ten wierd years since I first got it.
I love this timepiece, and I am not ashamed of that. But I myself need to look after it in order for it to stay gorgeous and working. So without further ado, here are some easy but infinitely helpful gold yellow watch care tips to keep your ticking for years to come:
CAREFUL WEARING
The first and most clear way to make a watch last longer is to take care when wearing it. Carelessly flailing your arms around will result in some scratches, and higher-grade gold yellow pieces are much more susceptible to to damage than their lower-grade brethren.
SOFT-BRISTLE BRUSHING
Dirt and grime will kill a watch over time, so make efforts to sweep the ins and outs of your watch when you can. I cannot stress how significant this is, as accumulating body oil will become grease that cannot be so simply removed once it has settled in. You also have to polish the surfaces with a soft cloth to bring back its luster, but do this only after the watch is free from grime and mud.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE
I wear my gold yellow watch most of the day, and it goes through a large amount of wear and tear even if I am careful with it. I bring it to the watch-shop every year for a year for a ‘general check-up.’ This definitely helps to make it last for years on end, and I recommend this to anyone that frequently wears similar timepieces.
